12 Kits of Occasions - Marybeth Lopez!

This month our theme is "Song of the South" and Marybeth Lopez has presented us with a gorgeous selection of goodies with which we get to craft to our hearts content.  I really had too much fun, all the time imagining what each team member would do - wouldn't it be crazy if we all chose the same thing for our DT card?

Here is my first - I could not resist this regal gent... I'm sure my father-in-law will love being reminded that he can strut about the yard and doodle-do anything he pleases on Father's Day - and beyond!

Thank you, Marybeth, for the gorgeous kit this month... I've more to show you... coffee/tea cups filled; maybe a sandwich?!

"... just how to mooooove me!"

Another gorgeous stamped image I received... with a familiar, fun sentiment.

"I brought the six pack!"

[There has to be cake with that six pack!]

"It doesn't matter what is on the menu, as long as you are on the guest list - won't you join us?"

Marybeth sent four pieces of this delicious graphic paper to me... I just couldn't stop myself - what do you think?

"Yes, I do think you are the berry best friend!"

And last, but not least...

"I said corny...no, that is a c.  But, I do like your optimism!"

Be sure you go to the 12 Kits of Occasions home blog to see what my fabulous friends have made... I know I can hardly wait - gotta run!  Thanks for stopping by! =]

Wow, fun, fun cards! You must have SO enjoyed making these! Love this whole theme and I especially love the 6 pack :)). (I am not a beer drinker, really. But my best and longest known girlfriend's dad was our milkman when growing up and this made me think of him. Sadly, he passed 4 years ago, but he was the best milkman ever!)

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! What a stunning collection Michele...love them all and the amazing look you created with this fabulous kit. I love how several of us each month make a card using almost the same supplies and create a very similar look. I love your handsome rooster, and I am sure you father in law will love it. Your yummy cupcake is as sweet as can be too and I love that you made it match the rest of the kit, looks good enough to eat!

Oh, Michele...you kill me. :) Your posts are always such a delight. I smile and chuckle all the way through them. Did you do an amazing job with this kit, or what?! Wow. I can't choose a favorite, but you used that graphic paper in the most fabulous ways, and I think your rooster card is so striking and the sentiment could not be more perfect. As soon as I saw it I thought, "Brilliant!"

Love, love, love your post so much!! You definitely win the prize for originality! Your punny sentiments and the clever designs from the patterned paper are amazing! Please don't ask me to pick a favorite because it's impossible. They're all so wonderful!!!

Michele, I don't know whether I should be thanking you or cursing you-LOL! I innocently opened your post expecting a shot of inspiration, and then you hit me with 10! 5 mins turned into 1 1/2 hours of marvelling at what each of you designers have done with this amazing kit. Hands down Favourite kit. Love this palette and adore every one of your cards. They wouldn't make THE best card gift set for someone. By the way, I know someone... Genuinely cannot pick a favourite! Banned from opening your posts until all my chores are done!!

Oh my gosh!!!! Michele you did one amazing job with this kit! I was so happy to hear along how much fun you were having with it. You took this kit in your own direction and I love how creative you were with it. So many original ideas and I love the way you used the patterned paper . Love you creative and puny sentiments ! This was so fun to look at yesterday. I looked at them all yesterday and had to wait till today to comment. Sorry.

Wow oh wow. You totally knocked it out of the park on this kit. Are you sure you don't live down south somewhere? I am most impressed with how you used that patterned paper--I loved all those amazing black & white images, but could not figure out how to use that scale for a card. Well, now I do. Thanks for all the amazing inspiration, and for all those punny sentiments as well.

Well...cock a doodle do! I've been a little out of touch, and didn't even know you were on the 12 Cards DT! Congrats belatedly. So sorry about that! Love what you've done with this kit. The b&w images with pops of color are just brilliant. You've let these little sweeties speak for themselves! They are just wonderful. Couldn't choose a favorite, but will say that I'm in love with your six pack! Easter Blessing to you and yours dear friend! Bev
