Paper Smooches Sparks: Anything Goes!

I have had these darling Paper Smooches goodies on my wish list for a very long time... so happy to say they are mine, all mine now!!

I stamped the Green Thumb veggies onto Neenah solar white, and water-color cardstock, then used the Green Thumb II dies to cut them out.  I wasn't sure which coloring style I'd like most.

First up:  water-colored:

Oh I do love these images!!!  Especially the peas... love the embossed dirt... it may be new =\

Then really simply colored with Tombow water-based pens:

Well... I kinda dig them both... no gardening pun intended =]

Sending this last one over to Kim at Paper Smooches for the Sparks, Anything Goes Challenge!  Kim has a pretty punny sense of humor =]  If I'm lucky enough to win?  I'm heading back to get Vegtastic... I love it so mulch.

I was wondering how you can use vegetables on card, and now everything is clear. Great card, funny.

You have a harvest of cute happening here, Kim! Glad you didn't invite us to choose a favourite as, like you, I did them both! The pea pod, stuffed with its roly-poly peas, and the chubby little carrot...too gosh darn cute!
Love these!

Aren't you a good girl liking your vegies so much!! I would never eat them when I was younger and don't eat that many now (I'm a fruit girl). If they looked this cute though, I would eat them for every meal!!

I was so sure I was going to like the watercolored ones better but I think they both have their place, depending on the mood you're trying to create. Love the dirt, too.

I kinda dig them too. Your EF is perfect and so smart. I smile when I visit your blog, you are sure to show me something fun and often innovative. Well done.

Wow, what fun images! I "dig" them too! Both cards are soooo amazing. Love the 'scalloped' dirt and the tendrils on the peas climbing your clever trellis! Both coloring styles look fantastic so you're a winner with either one!
