The Curtain Call FaLaLa!!

. . . la, la, la, la, la, following my friend Bobby's lead at the Curtain Call Challenge ... here's Bobby's card:

and the Curtain Call Inspiration photo:

and, finally, my card!!!

I drew inspiration from the colors of these fab boxes, the string of lights, and the texture in the frame to the right ... you know I'll find any excuse to add a little dry-embossing!

Hope you're enjoying the day ... what day is it, by the way?

Fabulous card, Michele! Those lights look wonderful in the chevron and the texture in the hanging part is terrific. That embossed background is amazing. You help see these embossing folders in new ways. Thank you for that. I adore the font in the merry christmas die and it looks fantastic in gold glitter! The fine gold thread adds a wonderful touch, too. You've done a marvelous job on this card. :) Thanks for the eye candy! :)

Fab card, Michele...
But now I'm wondering if you do 'messy'?
Thoughts on texture paste, for example?

I just love those old fashioned lights. We had them up in our basement when I was young. And you are so good at remembering to use dry embossing. What a touch it adds. Thanks so much for your gorgeous mitten Christmas card. So kind of you to think of me with that theme, Michele. All the best for 2017.
