It's Christmas -12 Kits of Occasions style

I know I say this every month... but can you believe how quickly November came, and went!!??

That's okay ... it's 12 Kits of Occasions time again - always something wonderful to celebrate at the end of each month!

Jessica Davis, of The Paper Parade, is playing Santa this time - a Christmas Kit!  oh, did I need it - I have SO many to make, and very little time to get them done!  All of the supplies are listed at the 12 Kits home page, if you'd like to know what Jessica used to assemble her kit.  Here is a little peek, compliments of Lindsey:

Grab a cuppa something wonderful, turn up those Christmas tunes, and let's get this party started, Christmas-style:

and a little sentiment of my own on the inside:

Because these guys are SO adorable, they deserve a close-up!

One more!  a little Winter birthday card - hope
I get to hand-deliver this one!
Is there anything more adorable than that
little corduroy button?
Okay, maybe the felt snowflakes?

That's it for me ... oh my friends at 12 Kits have LOTS of Christmas-y goodness for us... let's go, don the sleigh bells!

Thanks, Jess, for the sweetest little Christmas-gift-of-a-Kit!

Altenew November Inspiration Challenge

I have had a new little bottle of Altenew's Rose Gold embossing powder sitting atop my craft table... what better with to initiate it than with the Altenew November Inspiration Challenge?  and their gorgeous photo:

A little birthday card was on the docket today ... isn't it so hard to make a non-Christmas-y December birthday card?  Not one thing about this says Christmas...

How about a little close-up of that 'little thing?'

I really the combination of Peach Perfect, Mango Smoothie, Caramel Toffee, and Paper Bag inks for these gorgeous Floral Fantasy roses!

Thanks for stopping by ... off to the gallery!

a Just for Fun card, turned FMS314

I had just enough time on Sunday to finish a card that has been yearning to be made since I received the most incredibly generous gift from a friend on my birthday ... thanks, Barb, the best thing was opening your wonderful gift while we chatted on the phone!

I've had this gorgeous wood-grain-embossed, and real wood veneer paper on my wish-list for a very long time!  add a little left-over Gnome from the other day ... couldn't let him sit in the snippets bowl for another moment!

I think there might have been a little subliminal creating done here... looks suspiciously like this FMS314!!  and if you look closely at the acetate from the shaker, you'll see my reflection!
[think they'll notice the missing sentiment?  let's give it a try... all my thanks are on the inside!]

CUTplorations November 2017 Challenge

Just look at that gorgeous grey linen... not to mention the fabulous edible napkin ornament!  *swooning*  I'll take two dozen, thank you very much!

I had those lovely Stamplorations Bees Knees Layered Holly stamps on my craft table still... AND the wonderful Joyeux Noel Phrase CUTplorations die!  Here is how I was inspired to play along with the November Challenge:

Inside:
Hope your Christmas is just 'the berries!'

Okay... so my purple isn't exactly right - a girl can only have SO many inks, but I do like the texture that is a little like that of the linen napkin!  My darling Gull from Shirley's Small Birds set rather liked it!

Here's the first card I made... mind you I did forget the CUT part of the challenge - this guy's heading over to the NEVER ENDING challenge:

Inside:
... let's forget the Holly berries and go straight for the grapes - oh you know just the ones I mean!

Happy to have you stop by again today ... you'll come back tomorrow - I know I've been posting so much, I hope you aren't tired of me!  xx

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 22

Can you believe we are at Day 22?!  Oh I'll be sad to say goodbye!  But not before we have a little Stamplorations fun!

Yes, Stamplorations is our sponsor today [SORRY ABOUT THE MIXUP] and I had just the perfect order arrive from their designer: Shirley B - Bee's Knees!

Here is Shirley's cute little Layered Holly set, atop a little plaid action from another sponsor, Concord & 9th.  Bobby and I had so much fun on our EXTRA crafty day... she borrowed my Holly, and I borrowed her Plaid Builder set - and you know I couldn't stop at one!

Such a darling set Shirley B!!!  and I cannot wait to see all the other fabulous Stamplorations Designers tags, and products... let's go, shall we?

Tracey's rules are simple to follow, so please do, and get your tags in that gorgeous gallery, here!

Thanks, for TAG-ing along!

It's a birthday hop!

Ellen Hutson, LLC is celebrating 11 years!  Hooray!!  I'm honored to have received an invitation!

We were asked to use our FAVORITE Essentials by Ellen set - now you know I have MANY, right?  It was actually pretty simple for me, as I've used my favorite SO many times, in SO many fun ways... take a look back with me:

Drummers Drumming:

Ladies Dancing, Lords leaping:

Geese laying:

French Hens SO MANY times!!

This one, inspired by a Crate & Barrel kitchen towel is my absolute FAVORITE!

Calling birds:

... along with Turtle doves, and that pear-bearing Partridge, too:

If you haven't guessed my favorite yet: Twelve Days!

So happy to reach for it again today ... cue the confetti, and the music!

Inside:  ... on, or off the dancefloor!
[wish you could see how perfect their timing is!]

Now, could we celebrate without a little bubbly?  I have a NEW favorite for this Christmas-card-making season:  Modern Christmas ... I do love to have my way with Julie's fun sets:

Happiest anniversary, Ellen!!!
with love, to you ... and everyone who
is a part of your fabulous team!

Now, off you go to the wonderful Chari Moss' place where the party continues... thanks for stopping by!

A few other party-players:

The Cat's Pajamas

The Cat Pack has been teasing you for a week ... are you ready for the reveal?  Hope you're as excited as we are!

We have three new stamp sets, and four new dies - including a POP-UP!!  All are available now!  at The Cat Pajamas... but wait... there's news to come!

You should have arrived here from Jessie's - you can always go back to the beginning at Deborah's blog, if you want to.

Shall we get started?

I've used just the clock and face for this countdown to Midnight! and those gorgeous Wings!!!  [more on those later!]

The TCP Heart Swirl die represents the 'wind beneath his wings!'

[a little embossing never hurt any card, in my opinion!]

This is as CAS a card as I've ever made!  Delicata Gold is a gorgeous ink, isn't it?

This next card is a reminder to get those tags made for our current TCP Tuesday Challenge #341 - Tag it!

There is one more very special little die in the release ... a Corner Pop-Up!  Here's how it works - thank you, Alma for the video!  and this is what I've created using it - much easier than I thought it would be!

I've added a few of those fun new TCP Snowflakes
NO those trees are NOT part of the card!  I wish!

Now if my cards don't entice a little TCP shopping, maybe this will: the free with purchase for this release is the set of  WINGS dies!  AND>>>>> don't you DARE wait....

and YES it does include the new release items!!!

It is now time I sent you on your way to the next stop in the HOP... Nancy is sure to please!

Thanks for stopping, and hopping along!
